Pipsissewa is a ground cover that has developed a complex relationship with underground fungi. These plants often perish quickly if removed from the wild as a result.
I – Seaside Brookweek (Samolus parviflorus)
This very small, vulnerable species is found stream-side and is usually only seen in secluded areas where it is not overwhelmed by larger, invasive species.
