What's Atlantic Canada without a puffin? Did you know they're the provincial bird of Newfoundland?
When I was young I went whale-watching and brought a disposable camera to take photos of the whales. But before we even saw them, we came across a bunch of puffins. I was so excited about the puffins that I used almost all my camera film on the little birds. When we got the photos developed, most of my photos only showed small, black specks floating on water in the distance.
